Tatmadaw (Air) continues transporting foodstuffs, relief items to Rakhine State

The relief aid and food items contributed by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers, and relief supplies provided by the National Disaster Management Committee for local communities affected by Cyclone Mocha in Rakhine State are being transported by Tatmadaw aircraft and helicopters.
A total of 7.965 tonnes of foodstuffs and relief goods donated by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) were delivered from Mingaladon Airport to Sittway Airport by a plane of Tatmadaw (Air).
A total of 3,135 Tatmadaw members and departmental staff who will help in rehabilitation work and 471 tonnes of supplies were helicoptered to the storm-battered areas.
Officials in the respective areas received relief items and will distribute them to storm victims. — MNA/KZW
