Tun Tun Min ties Thway Thit Win Hlaing in 8th Myanma Lethwei World Championship

Tun Tun Min fought to a draw against Thway Thit Win Hlaing in the 8th Myanma Lethwei World Championship held at Theinbyu Gymnasium in Yangon yesterday.
The Championship features eight bouts with thrilling actions.
The two star fighters met under the 80-kg event. Tun Tun Min showed his talent with powerful punches and low kicks while Thway Thit Win Hlaing relied on counter strikes.
Both of them competed with a full range of punches, showcasing a decent bout for the fans. The fight ended with draw as win or loss did not appear.
Thway Thit Win Hlaing has won over Tun Tun Min in the previous championship in January 2023. In this competition, no new champion appeared due to the draw.
In the 75-kg event, Tun Min Aung (Myanmar) tackled with Tokeshi (Japan). Tun Min Aung used series of kicks and knee strikes while Tokeshi responded with elbow strikes and head shots. Their fight concluded with a draw.
In the 63.5-kg event, Moe Htet Aung defeated Sein Lone Chaw in knock-out decision at 1:32 minutes of the fourth round. In the 65-kg event, Hanthwady took on Si Toe, and their bout ended as a tie. In the 54-kg event, Taing Kyaw beat Wu Thaw Do at 1:06 minutes of the third round. — Bala Soe/KZL
