Welcoming of Myanmar from Thailand underway

Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Myo Myint Than yesterday visited Kyauk Lone Gyi reception centre in Myawady Township, Kayin State.
The Ambassador was welcomed by Myawady District Deputy Commissioner U Htoo Lwin, Head of District Police force Police Lt-Col Tin Myo Htoo, township administrator U Phyo Zaw Ko Ko and officials at the Myanmar-Thai No (1) Friendship Bridge.
The Ambassador then visited the Kyauk Lone Gyi reception centre and inspected the preparedness of accommodations, foods and healthcare for the Myanmar citizens who returned from Thailand. He also inspected the program to bring back the returning citizens to their home and instructed the necessities.
The Ambassador also visited Shwe Myin Wun Pagoda and inspected the construction process of Myanmar-Thai No (2) Friendship Bridge.
The Myanmar citizens from Thailand who arrive Myawady today (7 May) will be welcomed by two nations’ officials with a ceremony. Now is the second reception and a total of 65 people, 30 men and 35 women were received in the first time.—Htain Lin Aung (IPRD)
