Yangon Mayor inspects development tasks in Thanlyin Township

The Yangon mayor inspects the vincinity of the Thanlyin Bridge.

Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay, in his capacity as chairman of the Yangon City Development Committee, and officials inspected the cleaning activities such as the pruning of weeds and bushes for cleanliness and tidiness along the approach road to the Thanlyin Bridge and the roadsides of the railway track, the landscaping of the park near the bridge and the drainage cleaning activities yesterday morning and gave instructions where necessary.
Afterwards, the Yangon mayor and the party examined the works of cutting weeds and tree branches to ensure the safety of power lines and also directed to remove ruined roadside barriers set on the vacant land and the old road near ups and downs of the bridge, dredge a drainage ditch, perform land levelling, and remove the old signboards near the tollgate.
Later, the mayor inspected the construction of a new three-storey office building at the Thanlyin Township Development Committee Office and called for the achievement of business goals for each financial year. — MNA
