YPS card reload locations expand once more

According to Yangon Payment Services (YPS), more locations where YPS cards can be topped up were expanded.
YPS cards, which are used to pay fares instead of cash on some YBS bus lines operating in the Yangon Region, can be conveniently purchased at Capital chains, YPS Card sales KIO SK, Mingala high-end movie theatres, Capital high-end malls, and Wellington pharmacies, in addition to G & G convenience stores.
Two types of bus lines can be paid for with the YPS card: flat-type and distance-type. When using the YPS card on distance-type vehicles, the card must be tapped each time when boarding and alighting from the bus, whereas, on flat-type bus lines, it must be used only once when getting on the bus.
The Yangon Payment Service (YPS) system commenced on 16 YBS bus lines. YPS has also announced that YPS cards can now be used to pay bus fares on 75 bus lines, making it a convenient and time-saving option. — TWA/CT
