The 76th Anniversary of Union Day 2023 was observed at the assembly ground of the Hluttaw in front of the People’s Square on Yangon’s Pyay Road at 7:30 am yesterday morning.
Yangon Region Government Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Commander of Yangon Command Maj-Gen Nyunt Win Swe, Yangon Region cabinet members, the Chief Justice of the Region High Court, the Advocate-General of the region, the Auditor-General of the region, military officers, departmental officials, ethnic people and invited guests attended the event.
First, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein took the salute of the Guard of Honour and saluted the State flag together with attendees.
Next, the Yangon Region Chief Minister read the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Tadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing to the 76th Anniversary of Union Day ceremony 2023. —Ko Ko Zaw (MNA)/KZL
