Myanmar star player included in AFC best midfielders’ list

According to the statement with the AFC, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has recently announced 12 midfielder stars in the Asian region, and Myanmar star player Maung Maung Lwin also included in the list.
The midfielders AFC has picked are Bader Al-Mutawa of Kuwait, who has scored 30 AFC Cup goals, Maung Maung Lwin of Myanmar’s Yangon United, who has scored eight AFC Cup goals, Boaz Solossa of Indonesia, who has scored 16 AFC goals, Nguyen Van Quyet of Vietnam, who has scored 16 AFC goals, Artur Gevorkyan of Turkmenistan, who has scored 4 AFC Cup goals, Hassan Maatouk of Lebanon, who has scored 17 AFC goals, Humam Tareq of Iraq who has achieved AFC Cup winner Awards in 2016 and 2017, Saif Al Hashan of Kuwait, who has scored six AFC Cup goals, Riko Simanjuntak of Indonesia, who has scored one AFC Cup goals, Khaled Saad of Jordan, who has scored six AFC Cup goals, Ali Fasir of Maldives, who has scored 11 AFC goals, and Fatkhullo Fatkhulloev of Tajikistan, who has scored seven AFC goals.
“We’ve picked out 12 superb options; some of them known for being prolific scorers, some for their work as providers, and others who are remembered for specific moments in the tournament – and it’s up to you to choose your favourite,” AFC officials said. —GNLM
