One ward administrator shot to death in Lanmadaw, Yangon

The administrator of the No (3) ward, Lanmadaw Township, Yangon Region, was shot to death yesterday morning.
He was shot to his head by a terrorist in front of the building number (61), 8th street while he was on the way to the office to investigate the explosion at the ward administration office.
While the members of the security forces are carrying out the necessary investigation at the scene, one homemade bomb exploded inside a Myanmar Net cable box which was installed at a 7-foot-high pole at the corner of Anawyahtar road and Kaing Tan road, injuring 7 of them.
It is reported that members of the security forces are continuing to search for and arrest the perpetrators of the violence. — MNA
