Arson attacks target state-owned buildings, bridges

Terrorists accelerated arson attacks on state-owned buildings, civilian houses and bridges in townships of the states and regions.
On 18 May, a one-storey building built for student hall in the Basic Education High School was set on fire in Kyaukphoo village in Yamethin Township, Mandalay.
On the same day, two temporary tents and wooden beds at the checkpoint in Laylome ward, Tiddim Township, Chin State, were destroyed by fire.
Similarly, unscrupulous people burned the ward administration office in Kunchan ward, Twantay Township, Yangon Region on the same day.
Yesterday morning, a terrorist threw a fire rod into the house of a USDP party member in Tasaychaung village in Thabaung Township, Ayeyawady Region.
It is reported that security forces are investigating to take effective legal action against the perpetrators. – MNA
