Terrorists continue launching bomb attacks

Terrorists planted handmade bombs at state-owned buildings, some houses of people and on public roads.
On 21 May, an explosion occurred at the entrance of Pauk Taw village of Nyaunglebin Township in the Bago Region. According to the tip-off, the security forces investigated and found that the handmade bomb exploded at the house of U Tin Maung Than, San Kalay village-tract administrator. In the blast, U Toe Toe from Thayet Gone village of Nyaunglebin died on the spot. Administrator U Tin Maung Than, Daw San San Maw, Maung San Han Shwe, U Zaw Win and Daw Khin Saw Myint (aka) Daw Tin were injured and taken to Nyaunglebin people’s hospital.
Similarly, another bomb explosion occurred at the inspection gate of Muse in Northern Shan State yesterday. According to the investigation, three handmade bombs exploded near the inspection buildings. Four men, including deputy assistant U Tun Win of the Customs Department, were injured.
The security forces inspect to take action against those who commit bomb attacks under the law. —MNA
