Drugs seized in Meiktila and Mawlamyine townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a motorbike driven by Thein Soe Oo on the Yangon–Mandalay highway in Meiktila township and captured 5,000 stimulant tablets at 1:30 pm on 10 June.
Similarly, at 6:30 pm on the same day, Police Force examined suspected Ma Naw Ei Ei Phyo in Mawlamyine township and seized 6,000 stimulant tablets.
The suspects are being prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, stated the Myanmar Police Force. — MNA
