22nd APT Policy and Regulatory Forum (PRF-22) held ministerial dialogue

Deputy Minister for Transport and Communications Brig-Gen Lu Mon attended and discussed the 22nd APT Policy and Regulatory Forum (PRF-22) that is virtually held by the Asia Pacific Telecummunity-APT with Hybrid Format from 19 to 21 July.
At the opening ceremony of ministerial dialogue, APT Secretary General Mr. Masanori Kondo gave a welcome speech and the Telecummunity Policy and Regulatory Forum Chairman Mr. Trieu Minh Long gave an opening speech.
Afterwards, the six moderators consists of Deputy Minister Brig-Gen Lu Mon exchanged the policy strategies and approach methods that enable governments, business owners and citizens with the topic of “Digital Transformation and Innovation Strategies for Sustainable Digital Society” in order to speed up the digitalization, as well as good experiences in implementing digital development in Asia-Pacific countries.
This forum has been held annually since 2005 to adopt harmonized policies in the communication and ICT sector development of Asia-Pacific countries. In the forum, APT Secretary General Mr. Masanori Kondo acted as the moderator, and ministers and deputy ministers from Thailand, Japan, Myanmar, Malaysia, Mongolia and Vietnam participated as the speakers.—MNA
