MoFA Union Minister receives Indian delegation led by Foreign Secretary of India

Indian Foreign Secretary Mr Vinay Mohan Kwatra calls on Union Minister U Wanna Maung Lwin in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received the Indian delegation led by Mr Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Foreign Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India at 11 am on 21 November 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw.
At the courtesy call, they cordially discussed and exchanged views on enhancing the existing friendly bilateral relations and promoting cooperation between the two countries in the areas, inter alia, trade, investment, and ongoing development projects, strengthening closer collaboration in regional and multilateral contexts including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the United Nations, and other matters of mutual interests.
Present at the courtesy call were U Kyaw Myo Htut, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar. The Indian Foreign Secretary was accompanied by Mr Vinay Kumar, Ambassador of India to Myanmar, Joint Secretary Smt Smita Pant and responsible officials from the Ministry of External Affairs of India. — MNA
