Semi-final of SAC Chairman’s Trophy U-18 women’s football tourney held

In collaboration with the Department of Sports and Physical Education of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Myanmar Football Federation, the SAC Chairman’s Trophy U-18 women’s football tournament semi-finals to mark Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023, was held at 3 pm yesterday at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw with the aim to raise the standard of Myanmar football and to produce many talented new-generation (female) football players from states and regions.
The Shan State team beat the Ayeyawady Region team 4-1 in the semi-final match.
SAC members U Khin Maung Swe, U Sai Lone Seng and U Shwe Kyein, Union ministers, deputy ministers, football fans and officials attended and enjoyed the football match.
The Mandalay Region team will take on the Kachin State team in the second semi-final match of the U-18 women’s football tournament at Wunna Theikdi Stadium at 3 pm on 16 December.
