Myanmar, India hold preliminary business meeting

The preliminary business meeeting between Myanmar and India in progress virtually.

The preliminary meeting of the UMFCCI’s Services Industry Development Committee and the Indian business delegation was held on 3 April in a hybrid system.
The meeting was attended by Committee Chairman U Myo Thant, Vice-Chairs U Aung Zeya Lwin and U Soe Naing, Secretaries Dr Lu Mon and Daw Hla Hla Yi, IR Vice-Chair U Moe Kyaw and invitees.
The Indian delegation led by Dr Jagat Shah, members of Indian service companies (healthcare, IT, market research) and Counselor Mr RC Yadav from the Indian Embassy attended the meeting.
The Indian delegation is scheduled to visit Myanmar in April 2023 and they are service and trade-related companies providing services to hospitals and health centres, healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical advisory groups, health and travel services, medical treatment and private hospital construction works.
Their visit aims to have discussions with health and trade associations and companies from Myanmar. — MNA/TS
