Advisory body of PC holds talks with DPN delegation in Chiang Mai

The advisory body of the Peace Commission and the Delegation for Political Negotiation (DPN) led by U Khu Oo Reh of the United Nationalities Federal Council-UNFC in Chiang Mai, Thailand, yesterday morning.
U Aung Kyi, the chairman of the advisory body of the Peace Commission, and U Khu Oo Reh, leader of the DPN, delivered addresses at the meeting, before discussing the 9-point demand of the UNFC, future talks in Yangon and matters related to the Joint-Monitoring Committee.
U Hla Maung Shwe, one of the members of the advisory body, said that they had explained the policy of the government and the talk was successful to some extent but added that not all matter were solved at the meeting.
The talk, which was attended by U Hla Maung Shwe, Dr Min Zaw Oo and U Kyaw Lin Oo of technical supporting team on the government side and U Khu Oo Reh, General Gun Maw and Dr Nai Shwe Thein on the DPN side, concluded in the evening.
