Bodies of two female found in Yangon and Mandalay

The body of an unidentified woman was found in a ditch at the corner of Tapin Shwe Htee road, and Thamine (10) road around 9 am in Mayangon Township in Yangon on 3 April.
The victim was a 40-year-old woman with no external stab wounds, with shaved head and cuts on the leg’s left side. Both legs were tied with bicycle tires. Both hands were tied with plastic straps, and the mouth was blocked by bicycle tires.
The body was carried to the General Hospital in Hlinethaya Township.
Similarly, a young woman was found dead at 8:40 pm at the corner of 53th street and Manawhari Road in Chanmyathazi Township in Mandalay Region on 4 April.
The victim was stabbed in the abdomen, bruises on the right wrist, finger-joints and the left big toe.
According to the investigation, the victim was Ma Htet Htet Win, 19, daughter of U Phyu, who lived at the corner of 45th street and 117th street.
The deaths are under investigation as homicide police are investigating to take effective legal actions against the perpetrators. — MNA
