Erosion control block was disjoined at the river bank of Apaukwa village in Kyauktaw Township, Mrauk U District.
Twelve houses were destroyed by the land erosion and nine houses are close by the landslide, so they made a move to a safe place with their own plans. No casualties were reported yet. Twelve households including 30 men and 64 women temporarily lived at neighboring houses.
