First 10 Days Weather Forecast for October 2022

Bay of Bengal Condition
Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal from Deltaic Areas during 3-7 of October and from Southern Myanmar areas during 8-12 October. Two low pressure areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensify into the depressions. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay of Bangle and Monsoon will be weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Rain Conditions and Rainy Days
Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States, below normal in Kachin State and above normal in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States.
Rain days are expected about six to eight days in Bago (East), Yangon, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions, Shan (South), Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about three to five days in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago (West) Regions, Kachin, Shan (North and East) States.
Flood condition
The water level of Ayeyawady River at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, NyaungU, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan and Pyay is observed as about half a foot and 2.5 feet below its current level, and it may reach half a foot above its current level at Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.
The water of Chindwin River at Khamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Mingin, Kani and Monywa may reach one to two feet below its current level.
The water level of Dokhtawadi River water at Hsipaw, Shwesayan and Myitnge may reach between half a foot and one foot above its current level while between one to two feet of Sittoung River water at Taungoo and Madauk, about one foot of Shwegyin River at Shwegyin, between one to two feet of Bago River water at Zaungtuu and Bago, between half a foot and three feet of Thanlwin River water at Pasawng and Hpa-an, about three feet of Thaungyin River water at Myawady, about half a foot of Ngawun River water at Ngathaingchaung, Thaboung and Pathein, about one foot of Toe River water in Maubin, between half a foot and one foot of Kelantan River water at Paletwa and Kyauktaw, about half a foot of Lay Myo River water at MraukU and about half a foot of Bilin River water at Bilin and the water level of Myittha River may reach half a foot below of its current level at Kalay. —MNA
