MGF issues handicap index cards to two golf clubs

A ceremony to issue handicap index cards related to the world handicap system took place at the Myanmar Golf Federation at the 9th mile on Pyay Road in Yangon yesterday morning.
President of MGF U Ko Ko Aye and Chairman of World Handicap System Subcommittee U Zarni Win spoke on the occasion.
The MGF president presented handicap index cards to Myanmar Golf Club Captain Dr Cho Tun and WHS Subcommittee Chairman U Zarni Win, to Myanmar Genuine Golfers Club.
The MGF has formed the WHS organizing subcommittee to systematically categorize the course rating and slope rating for the domestic golf courses. Myanmar Golf Club in Yangon and Myanmar Genuine Golfers Club in Nay Pyi Taw cooperate with the federation in steadfastly striving for applying the WHS. So far, the two golf clubs were set a record for the first-ever exercising the world handicap system in the history of Myanmar golf sport. — Ko Nyi Lay/TTA
