MoHA Union Minister attends alms-food donation ceremony, fingerling-releasing ceremony marking 58th Anniversary of Myanmar Police Force

Alms-food was donated to senior Sayadaws and monks to mark the 58th Anniversary of Myanmar Police Force Day yesterday.
The ceremony was attended by State Administration Council Member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut and his wife, Deputy Minister Maj-Gen Soe Tint Naing and wife, Deputy Minister Chief of Myanmar Police Force Maj-Gen Zin Min Htet and wife, directors-general, vice-police chiefs, senior police officers and wives.
The Union minister and congregation took five precepts from Presiding Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja of Mingala Zayyone Pali Takkatho Monastery of Pyinmana Township and listened to the sermons recited by Sayadaws.
Then, they donated the offertories and shared merit. After that, they donated early meals to Sayadaws and monks.
Similarly, in commemoration of the 58th Anniversary of Myanmar Police Force Day, the fingerling-releasing ceremony was held at No 3 Mingala Lake in Bawgathiri Ward of Zabuthiri Township on 29 September. During the ceremony, SAC member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut and his wife, Deputy Minister Maj-Gen Soe Tint Naing and wife, Deputy Minister Police Chief Maj-Gen Zin Min Htet and wife, directors-general, vice-police chiefs, senior police officers and wives released 50,000 fingerlings into the lake.
Myanmar Police Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs also made donations to mark the 58th Anniversary Myanmar Police Force Day, and donated K1,600,000 cash at Uppatasanti Pagoda, released 250 birds while K500,000 cash to “Garuna Kaba” elderly home in Dekkhinathiri Township, 300 packs of fired noodle to “YGW” orphanage in Pobbathiri Township and K300,000 to “Golden Heart” animal rescue in Mingaladon Township of Yangon yesterday. — MNA
