MPRL E&P organizes animal husbandry course for locals in Mann Oil Field

MPRL E&P, the oil and gas exploration and production company, opened an animal husbandry course in cooperation with the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department for the local people of Mann Oil Field at Ouk Kyaung Village in Minbu (Saku) Township in Magway Region yesterday.
The three-day training that will conclude on 4 December was organized in line with COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports and was teaching the subjects of breeding of cattle, pigs, indigenous chickens, animal husbandry, and asexual reproduction.
The purpose of the training is to fulfil the requirement of skilled breeding workers. The completion of the course will be beneficial for the implementation of systematic breeding, reducing breeding costs, and sustainability of the vocations of the local people.
MPRL E&P is a joint-ventured company with Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise.
A total of 26 trainees from 10 villages near the Mann Oil Field attended the training.—MNA (Translated by Kyaw Zin Tun)
