
The MV Boudicca cruise ship of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines based in Britain arrived at Wilmar Myanmar Port Terminal in Thilawa Port in Yangon from Phuket, Thailand yesterday. Officials welcomed the guests who have just arrived and artistes gave a traditional dance performances.
The voyage is organized by Myanmar Voyages International Tourism Co Ltd with the supervision of Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and assisted by Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The ship carried 530 passengers and 363 crew members. The Medical team of Myanma Port Authority made coronavirus screening measures at the port.
The visitors went sightseeing in Dala, Thanlyin and Kyauktan of Yangon, Bago and Bagan. The cruise ship will depart for Colombo Port of Sri Lanka at 6 pm on 1 February 2020.—MNA (Translated by TTN)
