Myanmar delegation attends 22nd ACCSM, SOM in Brunei

The Myanmar delegation led by Union Civil Service Board Permanent Secretary U Aung Tin Soe attended the preparatory meeting of the 22nd ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM) and Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) held in Brunei Darussalam on 9 and 10 May. The delegation joined the events at the invitation of Permanent Secretary Ajman Bin Haji Meludin of Brunei Prime Minister’s Office and arrived back in Myanmar yesterday.
During the meeting, officials exchanged views on the planning of activities and the Roadmap during Brunei Darussalam’s Chairmanship of the ACCSM (2022-2024), activities of ASEAN member states under ACCSM and ASEAN Plus Three (2021-2025) Work Plan, development of the Post-2025 ACCSM Work Plan, decisions made at the 21st ACCSM and cooperation on civil service matters and continuous collaboration and communication among the public service sector of ASEAN member states.
The ASEAN delegates then visited the significant cultural sites of Bandar Seri Begawan, attended the dinner event and exchanged gifts. — MNA/KTZH
