Myanmar falls in Group B of Asian Cup Qualifiers

Myanmar men’s national football team is placed in Group B of the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024 Qualifiers as the drawing-lots ceremony for the tourney was held at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.
Group B will see Myanmar, 2020 champions South Korea (Host), Kyrgyzstan and Qatar.
Next, Brunei is in Group A with Host Jordan, Syria, and Oman. Meanwhile, Host Viet Nam is falling in Group C with Singapore, Yemen and Guam.
The 2016 champions, Japan is the top seeds in Group D with host Bahrain, Pakistan, and Palestine. Host Uzbekistan, the 2018 Champion is in Group E with Iran, Hong Kong, China and Afghanistan.
Group F will see 2013 winners Iraq, Host Kuwait, Timor-Leste and Macau, while the UAE, India, Maldives and hosts China are in Group G. Host Thailand sits in Group H with Malaysia, Bangladesh and the Philippines while Group I will see Australia, Host Tajikistan, Laos and North Korea.
Defending champions Saudi Arabia (Host), Cambodia, Lebanon and Mongolia were drawn in Group J while the three-team Group K will see Turkmenistan, Host Indonesia and China Taipei. The group matches of the qualifiers will be held from 4 to 12 September. — KZL
