Over 50,000 trees to be planted in dry zone this FY

A total of 50,125 trees will be planted at 14 townships in four districts in the dry zone of Sagaing Region in the 2019-2020 financial year, said U Ba Lwin Oo, director of the Sagaing Region Dry Zone Greening Department.
Under the special greening programme, three-foot tall trees will be planted in the dry zone.
In the 2019-2020 financial year, 32,000 trees will be planted in six townships of Shwebo District, 2,500 trees in three townships of Monywa District, 4,025 trees in two townships of Yinmabin District, and 11,600 trees in three townships of Sagaing District.
