Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu received a party led by the representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Myanmar Chun-Fu Chang and Daw Khin Kyi Foundation Central Executive Dr. Thant Thaw Kaung in the guest room of the State Chief Minister.
During the meeting, they discussed matters related to cooperation and participation in agriculture and livestock breeding works for Rakhine State development, upgrading the libraries in the district and township offices of the Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) into community centres through cooperation between the IPRD and Daw Khin Kyi Foundation, conducting computer training courses and cooperating with the state government in providing information and knowledge to the people through the mobile library.
After the meeting, the State Chief Minister presented the document of honour to Daw Khin Kyi Foundation and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Myanmar that built and donated 30 houses in Maungtaw Township, Khondaing Village, for the ethnic Mro nationals. — Tin Tun (IPRD)
