Shadaw Township to get new bridge across Pun Creek

2(11)Shadaw, 16 Dec — A new bridge across Pun Creek is under construction on Loikaw-Punchaung-Shadaw road in Kayah State as of October 2014.
Under the directives of Kayah State’s chief minister U Khin Maung Oo, state superintending engineer U Khin Maung Phyu of Public Works is supervising construction of the reinforced concrete bridge.
The bridge will be 200 feet long and 24 feet wide, flanked by three-foot pedestrian ways on either side. It will be strong enough to support 60-ton loads, an official of construction group told media.
Construction of the bridge will cost an estimated K620 million. Shadaw Township IPRD
