Traffic awareness activities conducted in Bahan Township

Awareness activities of road safety, traffic rules, and traffic inspections were conducted yesterday morning near Yoma Bank, East Shwegondine Road, West Ngahtetgyi Ward in Bahan township from 10 am to 11 am.
Officials cleared the points to be followed to ensure the safety of vehicles, conducted awareness raising on the rules that a driver must follow and how to obey the rules of the road and inspected vehicles driving without discipline on East Shwegondine Road.
The traffic awareness activities were implemented by officials from the General Administration Department, township police force, township traffic police unit, officials from Township Information and Public Relations Department, Township Development Committee, Township Fire Brigade, and Township Red Cross Brigade.
It was reported that traffic inspection and awareness activities will be speeded up for the people to be able to travel in accordance with the rules of the road and traffic rules. — Sanda Htay/GNLM
