Union Minister for Information inspects completion of Yadanabon Amusement Park in Mandalay

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Maung Ko inspected the construction of Yadanabon Amusement Park in Mandalay and discussed recreation plans for the people yesterday.
Firstly, Chief Minister U Maung Ko explained Mandalay’s rich history and plans to preserve its cultural heritage, completion of Yadanabon Amusement Park and conditions for public recreation, and the conditions to see and enjoy the beauty of the moat and the walls of the palace.
The Union Minister said the Ministry of Information will help raise public aware of the activities of the Region/State Governments through media, adding that the Mandalay royal walls and moats are valuable historical heritage of all Myanmar people. We believe that not only the people of Mandalay but also visitors from all over Myanmar can take pride in the creation of such a large amusement park near Mandalay royal walls.
Yadanabon Amusement Park has been established since October 2021, with sidewalks, flowers, landscapes and lanterns.
Afterwards, the Union Minister met with staffs from the District Information and Public Relations Department in Pyigyidagun Township, discussed matters to step up youth development activities, to open vocational training courses for young people and to hold sports events, and provided cash assistance and foods.—MNA
