Chairman of the Yangon City Development Committee Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay and officials on Saturday inspected sanitation activities on U Wizaya Street and lanes of Dagon Myothit (North) Industrial Zone and instructed the needs.
Afterwards, the mayor arrived at the Lagonpyin water-purifying factory and emphasized the reduction of wastewater, unwanted water management and implementation of water supply projects through the Koukkowa, Toe and Panhlaing rivers for water needs.
The mayor then inspected water-supplying work and water flow to distribution zones 7 and 8 from the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition-SCADA control room.
In addition, Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay viewed the Yangon Region Public Rental Housing Project and fulfilled the needs. — MNA/MKKS
