48 types of jobs set to be evaluated in 2024-2025FY

A total of 48 types of jobs are expected to be inspected and assessed in the 2024-2025 financial year, said U Win Shein, Deputy Minister for Labour.
He said this at the National Skills Standards Authority (NSSA)’s National Skills Certification Ceremony was held on 2 February. NSSA serves as the focal point, and 5,000 respondents for 48 types of jobs are scheduled to be screened and evaluated in the financial year 2024-2025.
There were 27,428 respondents in 40 occupations, and 25,114 were recognized as skilled workers from 2014 to January 2024. A total of 5,774 workers were examined and evaluated for 28 types of jobs, exceeding the financial year 2022-2023 target. In the 2023-2024 financial year, 3,500 workers were targeted for inspection and evaluation. So far, there have been 2,735 respondents for 29 types of jobs, and 2,534 qualified workers were recognized as skilled workers. — TWA/KZL
