Magway Region Traditional Culture Troupe visits Gems Museum, Hluttaw

Magway Region Traditional Culture Troupe, which participated in the celebration of Diamond Jubilee Union Day in Nay Pyi Taw, paid homage to Yanaung Chantha Pagoda and visited the Myanmar Gems Museum (Nay Pyi Taw) and the Hluttaw yesterday.
In the morning, an ethnic cultural troupe led by Region Social Affairs Minister U Soe Paing Myint paid homage to Yanaung Chantha Pagoda in Lewe Township. In the afternoon, they visited the Myanmar Gems Museum (Nay Pyi Taw) and observed gems, pearl, silverware and natural resources.

Afterwards, they viewed the Hluttaw buildings and observed the lacquerware and 92 types of wooden crafts, which are traditional Myanmar cultural monuments displayed at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw reception hall, and posed for documentary photos.
Then, they viewed round the meeting halls of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, Amyotha Hluttaw and Pyithu Hluttaw, and the officials explained the functioning of each Hluttaw and parliamentary affairs. —MNA
