Tatmadaw senior officers oversee rehabilitation efforts in Mocha-hit Rakhine State

The State Administration Council has issued announcements on the areas affected by Cyclone Mocha as natural disaster areas under Section 11 of the Natural Disaster Management Law and assigned senior military officers to carry out restoration work in the areas of these announcements.
Brig-Gen Khin Zaw who arrived in Minbya Township, MraukU District along with officials inspected the volunteering works of local battalions and department staff on the Kaladan 6 vessel belonging to the local shipping department carrying rice and food items sent by the Rakhine State government.
Similarly, Brig-Gen Kyaw Kyaw Soe, who has arrived in Myebon Township, coordinated with officials yesterday afternoon to repair the departmental buildings damaged by the storm in the township. —MNA/KZL
