More than 300 companies in Japan will provide jobs for up to 1,200 Myanmar workers, according to the statement released by the Myanmar Embassy to Japan on 29 March.
Myanmar embassy has carried out verification of demand letters in order of the date that it received a reply from Japanese companies, and this is a statement about 325 demand letters, which were verified until 20 February 2024 and re-submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the statement, 325 Japanese companies will recruit more than 400 Myanmar male workers and 800 Myanmar female workers, totalling up to 1,200.
The embassy verified on documents whether Japan’s labour supervisory company and factories or companies that offer jobs are officially established in Japan and resent findings and remarks to the Ministry of Labour through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The embassy in Tokyo announced on 15 March that 500 Japanese companies would recruit more than 1,700 Myanmar workers.
