Dance competition, award ceremony held for MoHA Myanmar Traditional Thingyan Festival

In the Maha Thingyan Festival that falls in 1384 of the Myanmar Era, a competition of traditional Myanmar Thingyan festival choreographed dance group and dance group from the Ministry of Home Affairs was held at the water-splashing pavilion of the MoHA located at No 38 Office, Nay Pyi Taw at 6:30 pm on 10 April.
State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut and wife, Deputy Minister Maj-Gen Toe Yi and wife, Deputy Minister Chief of Myanmar Police Force Maj-Gen Zin Min Htet and wife, Permanent Secretary U Khine Tun Oo and wife, directors-general, senior officials and their wives, officials, staff and their family members, choreographed dance group and dancer group attended and enjoyed the ceremony.
The Union minister gave his opening speech at the ceremony, and the party led by the Union Minister and wife watched the competition of choreographed dance groups and dancer groups.
Then, the award ceremony continued and officials led by MoHA Union Minister Lt-Gen Soe Htut and wife presented the awards to the choreographed dance group and dancer group that won the competitions.
Twelve female choreographed dance groups and 12 male choreographed dance groups from the office of the MoHA Union Minister, the Myanmar Police Force, the General Administration Department (GAD), the Bureau of Special Investigation, the Correctional Department and the Department of Fire Services under MoHA, participated in the completions. — MNA/CT
