The opening ceremony of the EV charging stations of Chindwin Shan Construction Co Ltd and Earth Renewable Energy Co Ltd was held at the Thakin Mya park in Ahlon Township and at Mile-Post 1 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway in Hlegu Township yesterday. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Commander of the Yangon Command Maj-Gen Nyunt Win Swe, Deputy Minister for Construction U Win Pe, ministers of Yangon Region, officials and invitees attended the ceremony.
Firstly, EV running and Infrastructure Implementation Work Committee Chair Deputy Minister for Construction U Win Pe gave an opening speech. Officials from Chindwin Shan Construction Co Ltd and Earth Renewable Energy Co Ltd explained the purpose for the opening of stations.
Finally, they carried out test-driving EVs from the 60 kW DC fast charging station and EV charging station. — MNA/KZW
