Heavy rains from 16 October to yesterday in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region flooded the Kyeeohn-Kyeewa Dam, causing the dam to overflow 5.7 feet above the dam’s 340 feet water level yesterday afternoon, said U Soe Tint, in charge of the dam.
Under the close supervision of U Soe Tin, staff in charge of the dam is constantly monitoring the flood situation, and local people under the dam have been informed promptly.
