Yangon Region Administration Council Chairman U Hla Soe and members attended the School Enrolment Day ceremony held at No (4) Basic Education High School yesterday morning in Ahlon Township, Yangon Region.
The chairman said that when schools reopen, there may be harassment by fraudsters in various ways. He urged all to coordinate among teachers, parents, authorities and volunteers to respond in the best way. He also said to teachers to discharge the duties and responsibilities given by the State and work well as civil servants.
Student textbooks, note books and COVID-19 protective materials were distributed to the school. The chairman and officials also encouraged the enrolment situation at No (4) Basic Education High School in Ahlon Township and No (2) Basic Education High School in Latha Township.
Chairpersons of District Administration bodies and District Education Officers attended the School Enrolment Day ceremonies held at No (1) Basic Education High School, Thuwunna in Eastern Yangon District; No (1) Basic Education High School, Thanlyin Township in South Yangon District; No (1) Basic Education High School, Insein in North Yangon District.
The School Enrolment Day ceremonies were held in schools at Yangon Region to ensure that all school-age children access education in this academic year yesterday. — MNA
