Tatmadaw senior officers provide foodstuffs, cashes to storm-victims

Lt-Gen Phone Myat from the office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of the West Command Maj-Gen Htin Latt Oo, Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Maj-Gen Toe Yi and responsible personnel assigned in rehabilitation and construction work provided foodstuffs and cash assistance to the local security forces and their families in Ponnagyun in Rakhine State.
Then, they met members of the Myanmar Police Force, fire brigade members, departmental staff and their families and locals and provided foodstuffs and cash. Then, biryani meal boxes were also donated by the SkyNet family, Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (MLCA), MLCP public company, and MICA.
Next, Lt-Gen Phone Myat and party donated biryani meal boxes in the crowded places in Ponnagyun. And they inspected the distribution of purified drinking water produced by Tatmadaw’s water purifier truck and the local medical team of the Western Command provided healthcare services to the local people. Finally, they inspected the repair work on the roof of No 1 Basic Education High School. — MNA/KZW
