Union Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint signed the book of condolences for the demise of former Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee of India at the Embassy of India, Merchant Street, Yangon, yesterday morning.
Former Prime Minister of India H.E. Mr. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away at All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi, on 16 August. India is observing a week-long state mourning for the former Prime Minister from 16 to 22 August.
The Indian Embassy will be kept open from 10am to 12 noon and from 3pm to 5pm on 20 and 21 August for those who wish to sign the book of condolences. — MNA
