Myanmar boasts of its culture and traditions. The country had existed as an independent and sovereign country under own monarch. Therefore, Myanmar people are the ones who preserve and protect their own traditional cultures without any inspiration from other cultures.
Myanmar’s traditional outfits and dressing styles are beautiful, auspicious, admirable, simple and elegant. They can give peace of mind to the eyes of the beholder. Ethnic groups like Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Bamar, Rakhine and Shan have their own culture, traditions and costumes.
Myanmar girls proudly wear traditional attire (Yinphone and Htamain) during festivals, donations, and philanthropic and religious events.
