Union Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint met Mr. Kristian Schmidt, the Ambassador of the European Union to Myanmar, and his delegation at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw at
12 noon today.
They discussed matters relating to media freedom and development in Myanmar, media legislation,
ways and means to deal with distribution of hate speeches on social media and the dispatch of media to the Rakhine State in a frank and open manner.
