Chin State Chief Minister attends Thingyan Festival closing ceremony

The 1383 ME Myanmar Traditional Thingyan Festival Atet Day event was held at 9:30 am yesterday at the Maha Thingyan Festival Central Pandal at the Chin State Government Office in Haka Township.
Chin State Chief Minister U Ngun San Aung, State Chief Justice U Nay Soe, cabinet ministers, State Advocate General U Sun Dot Kyin, Secretary of State Government U Maung Maung San, Commandant for Military Strategy Colonel Saw Tun, and departmental officials watched and encouraged performances of choral dance troupes.
Afterwards, an award-giving ceremony for Miss Thingyan and choral dance troupes was held. Officials presented the best prizes, the first, second and third, and consolation prizes to the awardees, respectively.
The Chin state chief minister, the state chief justice, state cabinet ministers, the state advocate, and the state government secretary proceeded to Haka Station Water-splashing Pandal and watched performances of choral dance troupes. They awarded cash prizes to the winning choral dance troupes.
