Environmental Conservation Dept to install machine of Air Analyzer monitoring system in Amarapura

A plan is underway to install Air Analyzer monitoring system will be carried out in Mandalay in May 2015.
Asia Center Air Pollution (ACAP) provided an AAMS machine that can analyze content of sulpha dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and ozone and PM2.5 particles, an official of Environmental Conservation Department (Mandalay Branch) told media.
“Priority is given to installation of such machine in Mandalay. We have to record the facts about environment. Japan’s Environment Ministry joining hands with ACAP group to give assistance to our department,” he said.
The machine worth K110,000 will be installed in Amarapura Township. —Min Htet Aung (Mandalay Sub-printing House)
