MPF (Insein) produces medicines worth over K54 bln in Apr-Dec

According to statistics from the Ministry of Industry, the Myanmar Pharmaceutical Factory (Insein) produced and distributed more than K54.924 billion worth of various medicines including the Covid-19 vaccine and snake venom from April to December during the 2022-2023 financial year.
Myanmar Pharmaceutical Factory (Insein) was able to produce Covid-19 vaccines worth K32.738 billion this financial year. It also fulfilled medicinal requirements and orders from the government departments concerned.
The Ministry of Health offered orders to purchase narcotic drugs such as solid morphine, liquid injection, tramadol injection (diagnosis and treatment for severe, sudden and prolonged pain), tramadol capsules, diazepam, and medicines like methadone. — TWA/KZW
