New York, 5 May—Speaker of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Pyithu Hluttaw Thura U Shwe Mann on Tuesday held meetings with Deputy National Security Adviser to the US President Mr. Benjamin J Rhodes at Eisenhower Building and Deputy Secretary of State Mr. Antony Blinken at Harry S Truman Building in Washington D.C.
The speaker and party left Union Station by train and arrived in New York in the afternoon. The speaker was welcomed by Myanmar Permanent Representative to the UN U Kyaw Tin and embassy staff at Pennsylvania Station in New York.—MNA
